Vietnam e-Visa photo — Photo Requirements
Official specifications for Vietnam e-Visa photo photos. Select a photo to automatically crop and check against these dimensions.
Requirements at a glance
A finished Vietnam e-Visa photo photo measures 40 × 60 mm (1.6 × 2.4 in). Printed at 300 dpi that is 472 × 709 pixels.
The head, measured from the chin to the top of the hair, must be 30–40 mm tall, about 58% of the photo height. idphotopass aims for 35 mm, the middle of that range.
The eyes must sit 32–40 mm above the bottom edge of the photo, so the face is centred with space above the head.
The background must be white (#FFFFFF), plain and evenly lit, with no shadows, patterns or other people. idphotopass replaces the background with this colour automatically.
A Vietnam e-Visa photo photo is submitted as a digital file of 472 × 709 pixels rather than a print.
Face the camera straight on with a neutral expression, mouth closed and both eyes open and clearly visible. Avoid glare on glasses, and do not wear hats or head coverings unless for religious or medical reasons. Wear everyday clothes that contrast with the background.
Before you download, idphotopass checks the head height, eye position, face angle, brightness and background against the Vietnam e-Visa photo rules and tells you what to fix.
